Elekta introduces Fraxion head frame system

Elekta, a developer of tools and treatment planning systems, has introduced Fraxion head frame system.

The Fraxion head frame is designed to ensure accuracy and precision in stereotactic radiation therapy (SRT) of cancer targets in the brain and cranium.

The system features a patient immobilized option which comprises of a partial and full head thermoplastic masks, and a vacuum mouthpiece.

The system can be repositioned as it is directly connected to the treatment table and micro adjustments are also possible via easily accessible screws for full 6D patient positioning.
